We provide a wide range of survey services across a variety of sectors whether it be a small domestic property or larger, complex sites such as commercial buildings, industrial plants or marine vessels. We are UKAS Accredited to ISO 17020 standards to undertake the following Surveys :
Management Survey
A management surveys purpose is to locate, as far as reasonably practicable, the presence and extent of any suspect asbestos containing materials in the building which could be damaged or disturbed during normal occupancy, including foreseeable maintenance and installation, and to assess condition.
Refurbishment Survey
A refurbishment survey is required before any refurbishment work is undertaken. This type of survey is used to locate and describe, as far as reasonably practicable, all asbestos containing materials in the area where the refurbishment work will take place. A refurbishment survey by nature is more intrusive than a management survey.
Demolition Survey
A demolition survey is required before demolition work is undertaken. This type of survey is used to locate and describe, as far as reasonably practicable, all asbestos containing materials in the building prior to demolition. By nature a demolition survey is more intrusive than a management or refurbishment survey.
Reinspection Survey
Required to regularly assess and monitor the condition of asbestos materials identified in any of the above surveys.
All surveys are carried out in accordance to HSG264: asbestos the survey guide. As a minimum, our experienced surveyors hold the internationally recognised BOHS proficiency module P402 – Buildings surveys and bulk sampling for asbestos along with rigorous and stringent in-house training.
